Low impact shoes and exercise

Now these are some low impact running shoes! Never stop trying! Remember, muscles cannot act quickly enough to absorb all the kinetic energy of running. Thus, approximately 75% of that energy is transferred to our skeletal structure which can gradually wear out bones and joints over time. This is one reason we encourage people to modify some of the high impact exercises we do in class. Also, it is important to use good quality athletic shoes!
